1950-1959 Chicago Cubs Baseball Cards
The 1950s were the first decade of consistant baseball card releases. Bowman started the decade out by producing some of the best vintage cards of all time. Topps produced the most sought after modern day set in 1952 and continued producing baseball cards over the next 50 plus years. The Cubs as a team struggled throughout the decade but one of their most famous players, Ernie Banks, first appeared on a baseball card during this decade.
