The W512 strip set was initially released in 1926 with 50 cards. Along with 10 baseball players, the set included boxers, golfers, aviators, actors, tennis players and other celebrites. These cards measure 1 3/8 x 2 1/4 (inches) and feature a color drawing of the player on the front with the players name and team at the bottom of the card along with the card number. The backs of these cards are blank. Several of the 10 baseball players cards can be found with a different team and at least 4 of these cards can be found with a typewriter style font for the 2nd line (team). |
